Hear And See

Luke 8:10 – And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that

‘Seeing they may not see,
And hearing they may not understand.’

Without the revelation of the Holy Spirit, no one can truly understand the gospel or comprehend the Bible. If you think you understand it on your own, you’re only deceiving yourself. What you’re relying on is your upbringing, your limited knowledge, your personal reasoning, and the wisdom of this world. But what you imagine and reason on your own is certainly not from God.

But if the Holy Spirit moves in your heart, reveals truth to you, and opens your eyes to God’s love—Jesus’ love—then you have been chosen by Him. You belong to Jesus. If the Holy Spirit is calling you with God’s love, embrace it. He is waiting for you.
